Salomรฉ is an amazing teacher - patient and knowledgeable, endlessly supportive, and accomplished teacher. I have been with her for just over 2 years, and she has guided me farther than I thought I would ever go in classical guitar.

My son is taking lessons with Salome on how to learn to play the Venezuelan Cuatro. We are so lucky to have found Salome she knows so much about music that she can make a lesson on Zoom feel like she is the room. Salome is very knowledgeable about music and most importantly she knows how to make kids learn music in a fun way. My son looks forward to his Cuatro lesson every week. We are so lucky to have found Salome.

I cannot recommend Salome as a teacher enough. Sheโs so encouraging, patient, clever, and fun that our lessons are without a doubt the highlight of my week. Her genuine love of music is so deeply infectious that it keeps me perpetually motivated (even to do drills!). She has a talent for breaking down concepts into itโs simplest and most digestible forms and is receptive to any question I throw at her no matter how tangential they may be. Under her guidance my skill is advancing a lot quicker than I had expected in a way that feels effortless. Itโs also a real treat whenever she plays a piece as an example. It instantly transports me from my living room into a concert hall as her sheer talent as a performer knocks the socks right off my little feet. Iโve only been her student for a handful of weeks now, but Iโm so satisfied with her service that I fully intend to be under her tutelage for years to come.

Since I started working with her my technique and ability on the guitar has improve immensely, Iโve been introduced to entire genres of guitar music that I had never heard of, my repertoire has grown by probably 15-20 pieces, and sheโs generally been an exceptional teacher. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking to learn more about classical guitar and in particular Spanish style classical repertoire.

I came to the lute at a very old age and without knowledge of guitar or any other plucked string instrument. Salome took up the challenge with steadfast good spirit and much dedication. Of course, she efficiently took me through all the technical aspects and never tired of correcting me when I grew sloppy or inattentive to these aspects. But she did something even more important, especially for adult students, by communicating her great love for the instrument and the music that could be played on it. Salomeโs teaching was not just about hands and fingers but also about building a spiritual affinity with the instrument and its music.
